Vegetable people is one of the more unusual and imaginative categories of trade cards, usually stock trade cards imprinted for farm or food products and usually showing either a human head with a vegetable body or a vegetable head with a human body. In 1997 as part of the annual Trade Card Collectors Association conference and show a group of collectors met to catalog these cards into 26 groups totaling 128 cards with 13 groups consisting of 6 cards each and the other 13 groups consisting of 1 to 12 cards each.
