American Ball Blue Puzzle - Salesmen & Natives Crossing River. Shows 3 Heller & Merz salesmen and 3 cannibals, all of whom wish to cross the river in a 2-man canoe. The puzzle is how to do that without having the cannibals outnumber the salesmen on either side. American Ball Blue was an ultramarine dye produced by Heller & Merz. VG+, rounded corners, small stain on blank reverse. Brought $83.98 as Lot 143.59 in Trade Card Place Auction 143 on 8/8/2008.
