Martha Washington - Standing By Her Sewing Basket, Holding a letter saying "For the soldiers at Valley Forge, Geo. Washington" written to accompany the knitted stockings she's sending to the troops, 4-3/4 x 7-1/2 inch label used for attaching to bolts of cloth, entered according to the Act of Congress in 1871 to the Office of Library of Congress. VG+, printed on slightly lighter stock with typical light creasing, three short sealed edge tears. Brought $16.00 in Trade Card Place Auction 192 on4/18/2013.
