This lake is the site of the famous Chautauqua lecture series founded in 1874, card is copyrighted 1882, R-adv for round trip excursions via the Buffalo, New York & Philadelphia R.R. from Buffalo for $1.00 including a 40-mile steamer ride on the lake.
