Merchant's Gargling Oil - Fallen Skating Couple, Mechanical. As the card is opened (watch animation) the hinged legs of the man and woman are down and then fly up in the air, patented by Albert Operti 1892 and copyrighted by C. I. Boyer 1902. VG, partially separated fold reinforced on reverse with nearly invisible archival tape, leg hinges are solid and intact however, scuff on outside back. Brought $35.00 as Lot 114.41 in Trade Card Place Auction 114 on 10/27/05.
