Trade cards in this category consist of pages which are folded shut and are opened to show additional text or illustrations. Most of these cards have a front, back and two inside pages, but some have more pages and unfold accordian style. This category should not be confused with metamorphic trade cards which also employ folding parts, or foldout trade cards that consist of a single piece that is normally folded closed and have multiple folds that unfold (fold out) to form a much larger card that is usually square. Some
