Lion Coffee - Englishman Brownie on Fox. One of a set of paper dolls issued by Lion Coffee, the Brownie attaches to the animal he rides by means of a tab, patented & copyrighted 1895 by Palmer Cox, R-adv the coffee and identifies the Brownie and animal. F, crease across his body just below his collar that is unnoticeable on front and barely noticeable on the reverse. Brought $20 as Lot 141.12 in Trade Card Place Auction 142 on 6/19/2008.
