Enough collectors specialize in trade cards printed by Currier & Ives to make this a separate collecting category.
Most of the 200 or so different trade card printed by Currier & Ives were stock cards that were imprinted at a later time for local advertisers. Many of the cards are smaller versions of Currier & Ives prints.
Ron Schieber's recent book, Currier and Ives Trade Card Check List, advertised in the TCP Books page, provides extensive information on this interesting category of trade cards.
