21 - Anna Elizabeth Dickinson (1842 - 1932), writer and lecturer who championed Black rights and emancipation of women, friend of Susan B. Anthony & Elizabeth Cady Stanton, supportive of suffrage movement, later an actress and playwright, played a female Hamlet 1882, committed to Danville Hospital for the Insane 1891, released and won damages, died in obscurity. |
